Liz Pape is the President and CEO of Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS), pioneers of online learning for high school students and online course design for teachers. Liz has more than 15 years of experience helping K-12 schools to develop a 21st century learning model. Under her management, VHS has grown from 28 member schools and 30 classes offered to a world-wide consortium of over 650 member schools and 396 teachers in 33 states and 32 countries. An award-winning online education expert, Liz regularly shares her expertise in K-12 online education by speaking nationally at numerous education and technology conferences. She has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL), Blackboard Idea Exchange Steering Committee, and DOME (Diversity and Outreach in Mathematics and Engineering) Foundation. She has served on the U.S. Department of Education National Online Education Policy Forum and the NCREL Blue Ribbon Panel for Online Education.

Christopher Blake is the Technology Services and Support Manager for Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS). Chris is responsible for helping the technology team meet support expectations and project goals for both internal and external customers. Chris also collaborates with all of VHS’s functional groups to ensure technology and support needs are met in a timely and consistent manner. Before joining the VHS team Chris spent 15 years in various technology support and leadership roles. Chris is currently furthering his education at Nichols College. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and squeezing in an occasional ride on his motorcycle.

Mark Bucceri is the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) for Virtual High School Global Consortium. He oversees the Curriculum & Instruction and Technology departments. Mark brings over 20 years of experience in education and e-learning as well as curriculum and instructional design. Most recently, he served as a Principal Education Specialist for Saba Software, in Lexington, MA. His expertise is in the area of instructional design, learning styles, blended learning, student interactivity, and educational technologies. An accomplished speaker, Mark has presented frequently at national and international conferences and events. He holds a Masters in Education from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a B.A. in Computer Science and Math from Boston College.

John Englander
is Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Virtual High School. He is responsible for overall coordination of all Curriculum and Instruction initiatives for VHS, including development and management of strategic learning initiatives, coordination of professional development, and oversight of student courses. He has over 10 years of experience in online learning having worked as the Associate Director for Online Learning at Facing History and Ourselves, an international educational and professional development non-profit organization in Brookline, MA. Previously, he was a Designer for VIS Corporation and Big Mind Media. Englander received a B.A. in English from Yale University and lives in Acton, MA.

Debbie Kenny is Director of Sales and Marketing for Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS). She is responsible for managing the Global Services team and communicating the value of VHS’ programs to schools, students, teachers, and the larger educational community. Debbie has over 20 years experience in the corporate training and e-learning industry. As Vice President and General Manager of Learning Solutions at Information Mapping, Inc., she led a multi-million dollar training business and directed a team responsible for curriculum and course development and instruction, operations and logistics, sales and marketing, technical support and customer service. An accomplished speaker, Debbie has presented frequently at national and international conferences and events. She holds a BA in Psychology and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA in High Technology from Northeastern University.

Amy Michalowski is Manager of Educational Initiatives at Virtual High School and is responsible for determining the feasibility of new educational program initiatives and acquiring resources for successful completion of such initiatives. Amy also participates in VHS program evaluation and accreditation planning and execution at state and regional levels. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Worcester State College, Amy earned a BS in Biotechnology and a Masters in Education. Prior to classroom teaching, Amy worked for a research lab and a pharmaceutical company. In her free time, Amy loves relaxing with her family, including her husband, son and 3 daughters. Carol Ribeiro is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Virtual High School Global Consortium. She has more than 20 years of experience in operations and systems development. Carol joined VHS in 1999 and as a VHS teacher developed and delivered the NetCourse Business Marketing and the Internet. Currently, she is responsible for overall management of operations for Virtual High School, including management of school partnerships, finance and accounting, and human resources. Prior to her work in education, she managed systems for UNUMProvident Companies, Inc. Carol received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College and her MBA from Clark University. She is also a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).

Storie Walsh is the Director of Instructional Technology for Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS). Storie has over 15 years of experience in web, database and application analysis and development. She is one of VHS's first employees. Storie has overall responsibility for the technology infrastructure at Virtual High School including technology staffing, systems support, the learning management system, and the VHS website. She considers technology options as a means to solve educational challenges and provides consultation on the integration of technology into VHS instruction. She is responsible for evaluating, planning, coordinating, and implementing new technology for use in VHS courses and coordinates the required professional development. Prior to joining VHS, she was a Web Developer/Database Designer for the Concord Consortium and was a Senior Application Analyst for R.R. Donnelley & Sons' integrated media lab division. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts with a minor in Music and her Master of Arts in Public Administration at Framingham State College. A native of Massachusetts, she is married and has three sons.
