Liz Pape is the President of Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS), pioneers of online learning for high school students and online course design for teachers. Liz has more than 15 years of experience helping K-12 schools to develop a 21st century learning model. Under her management, VHS has grown from 28 member schools and 30 classes offered to a world-wide consortium of over 650 member schools and 325 teachers in 33 states and 32 countries. An award-winning online education expert, Liz regularly shares her expertise in K-12 online education by speaking nationally at numerous education and technology conferences. She has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL), Blackboard Idea Exchange Steering Committee, and DOME (Diversity and Outreach in Mathematics and Engineering) Foundation. She has served on the U.S. Department of Education National Online Education Policy Forum and the NCREL Blue Ribbon Panel for Online Education.

Richard Pickering, PhD, is the CEO of Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS), pioneers of online learning for high school students and course design for teachers. His well-rounded background in various facets of the education industry includes more than 25 years of experience as a teacher, high school administrator and adjunct college professor, as well as in educational publishing and corporate education. He joins VHS from Victory Productions, a leading K-12 educational development house, where he was Chief Operating Officer (COO). Before joining Victory, Richard spent 4 years as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Cambridge College and Bridgewater State College. This experience combined with his extensive background in educational publishing at companies such as Pearson-Prentice Hall, makes him the ideal individual to oversee the growth of VHS.
Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Teaching from Acadia University, a Master's in Educational Administration and Supervision from Plymouth State College, and a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning from Capella University.

Dana Koch is the Director of Global Services. He leads VHS’s sales and marketing efforts as well as spearheads the organization’s expansion of their worldwide online learning community. With over 20 years of experience in sales, he joins VHS from Emeryville, CA based LeapFrog SchoolHouse, publishers of multi-sensory reading/language arts instructional programs for the Pre-K – 8 market, where he was a Senior Sales Executive. Before LeapFrog he was a National Sales Manager for Nashua, NH based Delta Education, a leading publisher and manufacturer of reform based science and math curriculum. His experience has included being a guest lecturer at Simmons Graduate School of Education and The Reading Institute. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College and lives in Stow, MA.

Susan Leavey is the Manager of Curriculum and Instruction for Virtual High School. She coordinates the efforts of VHS curriculum staff and VHS faculty to ensure that courses are tied to state and national standards. Susan also sets guidelines for best practices and innovation in VHS courses, and coordinates the delivery of courses in the humanities areas. She and her staff provide learning management system mentoring as well as faculty advising for VHS teachers. Prior to joining Team VHS, Susan enjoyed a 3 week "retirement" after 33 years at Marlborough High School as art teacher and coordinator. She has been with VHS for 10 years as teacher (History of Photography), faculty advisor and NIM facilitator. Susan has a B.A. in Fine Arts from University of Bridgeport and an M.A.T. in Art Education from Simmons College.

Amy Michalowski is Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Virtual High School. She is responsible for overall coordination of all Curriculum and Instruction initiatives for VHS, including development and management of strategic learning initiatives, coordination of professional development, and oversight of student courses. Amy also manages VHS graduate credit partnership efforts. In addition, she is responsible for the tracking of key quality benchmark indicators for VHS professional development. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Worcester State College, Amy earned a BS in Biotechnology and a Masters in Education. Prior to classroom teaching, Amy worked for a research lab and a pharmaceutical company. In her free time, Amy loves relaxing with her family, including her husband, son and 3 daughters. Carol Ribeiro is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Virtual High School Global Consortium. She has more than 20 years of experience in operations and systems development. Carol joined VHS in 1999 and as a VHS teacher developed and delivered the NetCourse Business Marketing and the Internet. Currently, she is responsible for overall management of operations for Virtual High School, including management of school partnerships, finance and accounting, and human resources. Prior to her work in education, she managed systems for UNUMProvident Companies, Inc. Carol received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College and her MBA from Clark University. She is also a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).

Tracy Sheehan is Manager of Instructional Development. She has her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Secondary Life Science Education. Tracy has taught grades 9-12 Introductory Physical Science, Honors Science, Honors Chemistry, Honors Biology, Advanced Placement Biology, Bioethics, and Virtual High School’s online course, BioEthics Symposium. She was involved in the initiation of a Science Fair within Westborough High School, and acted as a mentor to students that have been winners at both the Regional and Massachusetts State Science Fair. Tracy has designed curriculum for newly offered electives, Bioethics and Methods in Science, while also mentoring new teachers within the department and student teachers from area colleges. She has attended Taft AP Summer Institute as well as many other AP workshops and is a member of the AP Biology Listserve. Tracy has presented at the NSELA Summer Institute and is the recipient of a Compaq Education grant, and Westborough Educational Foundation grant for science curriculum development.

Storie Walsh is the Director of Instructional Technology for Virtual High School Global Consortium (VHS). Storie has over 15 years of experience in web, database and application analysis and development. She is one of VHS's first employees. Storie has overall responsibility for the technology infrastructure at Virtual High School including technology staffing, systems support, the learning management system, and the VHS website. She considers technology options as a means to solve educational challenges and provides consultation on the integration of technology into VHS instruction. She is responsible for evaluating, planning, coordinating, and implementing new technology for use in VHS courses and coordinates the required professional development. Prior to joining VHS, she was a Web Developer/Database Designer for the Concord Consortium and was a Senior Application Analyst for R.R. Donnelley & Sons' integrated media lab division. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts with a minor in Music and her Master of Arts in Public Administration at Framingham State College. A native of Massachusetts, she is married with three sons and lives in Hudson, MA.
