Virtual High School classes are offered on a semester length or full year basis. Semester length classes are offered during the fall and spring semesters. Virtual High School also offers summer course sessions.

Semester Length Courses

• Each semester is 15 weeks in duration
• Spring courses begin the third week in January
• Fall courses begin the first week in September.

Full Year Courses

• Full year classes are 33 weeks in duration
• Courses begin the first week in September.

Summer Courses

• Summer courses are 4 weeks or 8 weeks in duration
• Four week courses are offered in two consecutive sessions beginning in July
• Eight week courses are offered in one session beginning in July

• Sep. 3, 2008 - Fall Semester begins Classes start
• Sep. 9 - End of Fall Add Period
• Sep. 23 - End of Fall Drop Period
• Dec. 16 - Fall Semester ends
• Jan. 28, 2009 - Spring Semester begins Classes start
• Feb. 3 - End of Spring Add Period
• Feb. 17 - End of Spring Drop Period
• May 12 - Spring Semester ends
• Jun. 3 - Last day for students to make up Final Incompletes.
