Virtual High School classes are offered on a semester length or full year basis. Semester length classes are offered during the fall and spring semesters. Virtual High School also offers summer course sessions.

Semester Length Courses

• Each semester is 15 weeks in duration.
• Spring courses begin the third week in January.
• Fall courses begin the first week in September.

Full Year Courses

• Full year classes are 33 weeks in duration.
• Courses begin the first week in September.

Summer Courses

• Summer courses are 4 weeks or 8 weeks in duration.
• Four week courses are offered in two consecutive sessions beginning in July.
• Eight week courses are offered in one session beginning in July.

Following is the School Calendar for 2011-2012:

• September 7, 2011 - Fall Semester starts.
• September 13, 2011 - Fall Semester Add period ends.
• December 20, 2011 - Fall Semester ends.
• January 25, 2012 - Spring Semester starts.
• January 31, 2012 - Spring Semester Add period ends.
• May 8, 2012 - Spring Semester ends.
