Netcourse Instructional Methodologies (NIM)
Course Description
Prepare to become online course instructors with this introduction to the pedagogy, methodology, and moderation techniques needed to effectively teach online. Experience being a student in the same environment in which you will teach. Explore concepts and elements of national NetCourse standards, and learn to incorporate similar elements into your own online course.

Participation Requirements
This ten-week facilitated online course requires participants to login and post in their class at least four times per week. Approximately ten hours of coursework is expected to be completed per week.

Site Coordinator Orientation (SCO)
Course Description
Learn to effectively administer VHS courses in your school including monitoring student progress, reporting grades, recruitment and registration processes, platform administration and upholding the policies and procedures of our online program.
Who Benefits
- Dedicated staff selected to oversee the VHS program at their school are REQUIRED to complete the Site Coordinator Orientation prior to managing students enrolled in our online courses.
- Educators and administrators who want to oversee the progress of their VHS students and learn how to optimize the program to create the best blended learning experience for their school
Participation requirements
Site Coordinator Orientation is completed in two parts:
Part I – This self paced section and can be started as soon as access to our system is granted.
Part II – Two-week, facilitated online course
