Back in his office, Simon calls a parent to talk about a student who seems to be falling behind in her VHS course. The teacher sent Simon an e-mail saying that she was concerned about the student, who hadn't turned in her last assignment. Simon tried to track the student down today, but she was absent from school.
After talking with the girl's mother, Simon sends an e-mail back to the teacher, and then calls a reporter who left him a voice-mail earlier in the day. A local paper had done a story on VHS last week, and since then, some larger papers had picked the story up, generating a lot of publicity. Simon answers some questions, and after the interview goes to the Contact Us section of the VHS faculty web site. From this area, Simon goes to the "Suggestion Box" to submit the recent article reference to the VHS in the Press section of the public web site.
Simon submits his new suggestion form and then gets ready to call it a day. Another interesting VHS day has come to an end...
