2:45 p.m., study hall

Natalie has some free time during her last period of the day, so she gets a pass to go to the school library. She looks for books on Gandhi in the library and then accesses her VHS course from a computer there. She reads some new discussion comments that have come in from other students during the day, and also posts a comment of her own to a discussion from week 6 that has continued. Looking ahead to next week's assignments in the Lessons, Natalie sees that they will be asked to interview an "expert" on one of the philosophies they are studying in class. Natalie's teacher has posted the e-mail address and web site of a Buddhist believer who is willing to be interviewed, but encourages the students to find someone in their local community to interview if they can.

Natalie logs off and goes to ask the librarian if he knows anyone she can interview.
