Time Commitment
Both NIM and TLC are intensive courses that requires active participation. VHS requires at least four on-line sessions per week. We recognize participation as the posting of comments and assignments within the course. Generally, it is assumed that participants will spend approximately fifteen hours per week on class assignments and participating in class discussions. Ideally, you'll be able to log in every day and, at the absolute minimum, four times a week.
Please note: Length of time needed to complete assignments may vary considerably depending on the speed of your internet connection. For example, the time commitment for a participant working over a 28.8 modem will be greater than that for a participant who is working over a cable modem.
Professional Development Blackboard Training:
Prior to the beginning of your course you will be required to complete our PD Blackboard Training course. This course is self paced and designed to accustom you to navigating your course. It will take a few hours to complete.
I understand that if I do not complete the training I may not be eligible to participate in NIM/TLC.
